Freebie Friday! Screenkeys, Autohotkey for ZBrush

By | February 12, 2016

As promised in the last WCIGAWW?, here is Screenkeys, Autohotkey for ZBrush! This will allow you to eliminate keyboard and mouse input, making your Tablet PC truly portable for the purpose of digital sculpting.

I don’t know who created this. I can no longer locate where I originally downloaded it from. If you are its creator, please let me know.

This is quite exceptional software. It augments your Tablet PC and makes it fully portable for the purpose of digital sculpting! Live the urbane life you’ve always dreamed of! Sculpt in the park! On the bus! In the cafe! Maybe that cute barista will take notice! Maybe it will spark a conversation that segues into a discussion of shared hopes and dreams!

Here we see that it is semi-transparent, allowing you to see and select what’s underneath. To that end, one notably awesome feature is it’s ability to discern between stylus and touch input. Should you need to select whatever is under Screenkeys, doing so with the stylus will make it move magically out of your way! Then go back to using your fingers to press its buttons.

Really great software that you might otherwise never know existed. Thanks Freebie Fridays!
