In the last sculpt we began with the guy you’d least like to run into at an “Eyes Wide Shut” type party. Over the course of two hours I tried to figure out the complicated layering that is samurai armor. Then I sculpted some of the cloth that will peek through, imaginatively accommodating the arrival

In the second grade a few of us started the imaginatively named “Artists’ Club.” To be a part of the Artists’ Club you had to follow a set of rules. You couldn’t draw from reference, you had to draw from memory, and God help you if you traced; that was a lifetime ban! Now sometimes
Last stream everything was going great; the new hard surface tech was working excellently. Then zbrush crashed. This stream is a do-over.
Building on the inspiration accrued from yesterday’s stream, I experiment with some new (to me) hard surface techniques!
Holy smokes! In the last live stream, my s̶t̶r̶e̶a̶m̶ ̶o̶f̶ ̶c̶o̶n̶s̶c̶i̶o̶u̶s̶n̶e̶s̶s̶ random babbling led me to an epiphany at 1:59:59! In tomorrow’s stream I’m going to experiment with a potentially revolutionary, maybe even new, never-before-seen hard surface technique! Aside from a few tweaks to the site, all the logistics of work product priming are complete! The NCP studio has had a thorough overhaul and is now capable of maximum efficiency, maximal effectiveness. Having finished preparations, we can finally begin work! Work begins tomorrow, February 8th at 1pm sharp and will feature the sculpting

This will be the last Follow Thru Thursday post for the foreseeable future. Hopefully we’ve achieved the goal of priming ourselves and our #gamedev workspaces for optimal output. We’ve worked to create the logistical infrastructure upon which our work and art will grow. Sometimes this took the practical aspect of simply listing and labeling boxes
