I’m going to create a “what to expect from NCP in the new year” post soon. In the meantime, take a look at all the retopo work that’s been going on! This represents about 100hrs of work all completed just last week! Productivity overload!
This Friday at 7pm I’ll be hosting the first live stream of “Follow-along Fridays!” The idea behind FAFs is to complete a side-project, or some sort of #gamedev related maintenance, in real-time, together with viewers. Since reformatting and re-imaging my desktop and Surface Pro, I’ve neglected to customize ZBrush. My productivity has suffered as a
I’ve had a bad go of it the last few weeks. Not because of the Corona virus; as a result of the cancer-related GvHD my daily routine has long since consisted of obsessive hand washing, glove and mask wearing. And I like not many things more than I like social distancing. But for reasons unrelated
In the last sculpt we began with the guy you’d least like to run into at an “Eyes Wide Shut” type party. Over the course of two hours I tried to figure out the complicated layering that is samurai armor. Then I sculpted some of the cloth that will peek through, imaginatively accommodating the arrival
In this stream I’ll create the samurai’s undergarments.
In the second grade a few of us started the imaginatively named “Artists’ Club.” To be a part of the Artists’ Club you had to follow a set of rules. You couldn’t draw from reference, you had to draw from memory, and God help you if you traced; that was a lifetime ban! Some rules
Last stream everything was going great; the new hard surface tech was working excellently. Then zbrush crashed. This stream is a do-over.
Building on the inspiration accrued from yesterday’s stream, I experiment with some new (to me) hard surface techniques!
Holy smokes! In the last live stream, my s̶t̶r̶e̶a̶m̶ ̶o̶f̶ ̶c̶o̶n̶s̶c̶i̶o̶u̶s̶n̶e̶s̶s̶ random babbling led me to an epiphany at 1:59:59! In tomorrow’s stream I’m going to experiment with a potentially revolutionary, maybe even new, never-before-seen hard surface technique! Check the schedule, the site or youtube channel tomorrow, streaming will start at 1pm! 😀
