Thought I’d share a companion piece to Monday and Tuesday’s posts. Here Star Foxy’s texture has been stylized in a Borderlands-esque manner. I’m concerned that some of the effects, such as the leather grain on the gloves, are a bit too subtle. None-the-less, I’m quite happy with the results. I attribute a great deal of the success to texturing the character realistically and only afterwords stylizing it. It’s twice the work but IMO the results are worth it.
I intend to have the character’s jacket and hair finished by the end of this week. I hope to be able to sculpt, model, and texture her gun within a week but that might be wishful thinking.
