A step back today as I remove the protofeathers from the face. I’m going to try to find an old save, rework it, and Project All on to the head of the most recent save. Wish me luck. From there I call an audible on the workflow: I’m going to skip adding high res feathers to the high res mesh (unless I decide to do a beauty render, which I can’t, see below, because RAM). Instead I’ll add feathery alpha planes to the high res, split them out, and add them to the low poly. Thanks @Polygon for the #screenshotSaturday retweet! Onward!
